1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lumori, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Lumori is a mobile application designed to help users improve sleep habits, reduce nighttime distractions, and increase morning productivity through behavioral tools such as:

• Night restriction systems ("Lumori Lock")
• Alarm and wake-up features
• Task prioritization
• Sleep tracking and insights

Lumori is not a medical or health service.

3. Lumori Lock — How It Works & What You Accept

Lumori Lock is the core enforcement feature of the app. When you enable it, you are making a deliberate, binding choice to restrict access to selected apps for the duration of your sleep window. By activating Lumori Lock, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Locks are permanent until wake-up. Once Lumori Lock is activated, all apps you have selected to lock will remain inaccessible until your alarm fires at the wake-up time you configured. There is no in-app override, bypass, or early-unlock mechanism — this is intentional and by design.
• You set the rules before you sleep. You choose which apps to lock and what time the lock releases before the session begins. Once the lock starts, those parameters are fixed for that session.
• No emergency unlock exists within the app. Lumori does not provide any emergency override or unlock shortcut. If you need access to a locked app before your alarm time, you must resolve this through your device's own operating system settings — entirely outside of Lumori.
• You assume all risk of the lock. By enabling Lumori Lock, you accept full responsibility for any consequences that may arise from being unable to access your phone or selected apps during an active lock session — including, but not limited to, missed communications, inability to call for help, or any emergency situation. Lumori bears no liability whatsoever for any harm, loss, or damages arising from a lock session you initiated.

If you are not comfortable with the irrevocable nature of Lumori Lock during a session, do not enable this feature.

4. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Provide accurate account information
• Be responsible for maintaining account security

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity under your account
• Ensuring your username is unique and not misleading

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for illegal or harmful purposes
• Attempt to bypass restrictions or exploit the system
• Reverse engineer or interfere with the app
• Use automation or bots

7. Subscription & Payments

Lumori may offer a Premium subscription ($9/month).

• Payments are billed through third-party providers
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
• Pricing may change with notice

Failure to pay may result in loss of premium features.

8. No Guarantees

Lumori is designed to assist with discipline and productivity, but:

• We do NOT guarantee improved sleep or productivity
• Results vary by user
• The app does not replace personal responsibility

9. Health Disclaimer

Lumori does not provide:

• Medical advice
• Sleep disorder diagnosis
• Professional health recommendations

Consult a qualified professional for medical concerns.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if:

• Terms are violated
• Abuse or misuse is detected

Users may:

• Deactivate accounts (temporary)
• Request deletion (subject to retention policies)

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumori is not liable for:

• Missed alarms
• Loss of productivity
• Sleep-related outcomes
• Data loss or interruptions
• Any harm, injury, loss, or damages — direct or indirect — arising from an active Lumori Lock session, including situations where you are unable to access a locked app during what you consider an emergency
• Any consequences of being unable to make calls, send messages, or use any application that was locked by you prior to a session

Emergency situations and Lumori Lock: Lumori Lock is a user-initiated, opt-in restriction. By enabling it, you make a voluntary, informed choice to restrict app access until your alarm time. Lumori takes no responsibility for any outcome — however serious — that results from your inability to access a locked app during an active session. This includes, without limitation, any emergency where you were unable to reach help due to a locked app.

If you anticipate any situation — including medical, safety, or personal emergencies — where uninterrupted phone access may be critical, do not activate Lumori Lock. Use is entirely at your own risk.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance.
